The Longxian Palace has an area of 10000 square meters, and
so it is called the first hall in the northern China. The wonderful
sceneries have been formed with rich characteristics by chemical deposits
of nearly 10 million years. Visitors are just like being located in
the fairyland, which is colorful and great and is full of beautiful
things in years.

Yunshui Cave is 613 meters long with 6 big halls and 108
natural sceneries, among them, there are great post, double lions,
lion looking at the moon, two dragons playing the pearl and 18 arhats,
which are really the wonderful sceneries in the cave. The ˇ°great postˇ±
is a big stone of 37 meters, and it is called the first big stone
shoot in China. In 1992, Yunshui Cave is further built and repaired
and new sceneries about the Buddhist stories have been increased,
which add the mysteries into the Yunshui Cave.

Shidu Scenic Area is located in Shidu and Zhangfang, Fangshan
District, Beijing Municipality, 96 kilometers away from the urban
area, and it is the largest and most typical valley of caves and peaks,
which are closest to the capital in the northern China. There are
12 geological sceneries of natural stone looking like Buddha, stone
coming from unknown place, gap between two big mountains, letter of
ˇ°foˇ± in Longshan, etc. And it has the reputation of ˇ°green mountain,
wild ferry and long picture galleryˇ±. Juma River is winding through
the mountains like a jade ribbon reflecting the mountain peaks and
making great sceneries.

Baicaoban Scenic Area is located in Simatai Village, Xiayunling
Township, Fangshan District, Beijing Municipality, 120 kilometers
away from the urban area with the altitude being 2161 meters and it
is the first peak in the southwester part of Beijing, and it is also
the only tourist site, which can be reached to the top of the mountain
by car in Beijing. The scenic site has the characteristic of grassland
in the high mountains with a lot of flowers, having the rich flowers
and strange grasses, wild fruits and vegetables, and it is really
a treasure of wild plant and animals. There are Kunpeng Valley, grassland
on the hill, holy caves, fairy road, 8 scenic spots on the mountain
and 8 scenic spots under the mountain.

Forest Park of Mt. Shangfang is located in Hancunhe Town,
Fangshan District, Beijing Municipality, 70 kilometers away from urban
area. It is one of the 20 key demonstrated state forest parks in the
whole country. The famous sceneries are: the nine big caves with the
Yunshui Cave as the representative, 72 temples, 12 peaks with Zhaixingtuo
as the representative. It is the scenic area integrating the forest,
cave, temple, mountain and stone as one whole. A lot of rare and ancient
trees are growing in it, and so it is historically called ˇ°quiet house
near Beijingˇ±, enjoying the reputation of ˇ°there is Suzhou and Hangzhou
in the south and there is Shangfang in the north.ˇ±
